addremove
This is a wonderful walking area with the coastal path leading to Niton Undercliff where you will find St Catherine s Lighthouse. Heading westwards along the beautiful, dramatic and unspoilt area of coastline will take you all the way to the Needles. Alternatively you can enjoy downland walks or follow the course of the River Yar from Niton to Bembridge. A short stroll will take you to the main village of Niton. The small but popular seaside resort of Ventnor is just a short drive away. Renowned for its sandy beach and the Ventnor Botanic Garden, the town also offers a choice of great shops and places to eat and drink. Also nearby are St Lawrence, Blackgang, Chale and Brighstone. On entering this beautiful holiday home, which offers fantastic sea views from several rooms, you will find the tastefully furnished lounge, which features plenty of comfortable seating and TV/DVD. You will also find a charming dining room. Going over to the stylishly designed kitchen you will find it fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available in a separate utility area. Heading upstairs you will find three charming bedrooms. There s a spacious double room with a king size bed and sea views, a double/twin room with a 6 ft zip and link bed which also enjoys sea views, plus a pleasant twin room. You will also find a bathroom complete with a hand held shower, bath and WC, as well as a separate shower room with a built in shower and WC. Stepping outside you will find a wonderful, secluded, peaceful south facing garden. There is a patio area immediately outside the cottage with garden furniture so you can dine in the sunshine. The garden has areas of lawn, well established shrubberies and, at the far end, there is a seating area with views across the fields to the sea with the wonderful aspect of St Catherine s Lighthouse to one side. It is a wonderful location in which to relax, watching the sailing boats pass by and is sensational for such events as the Round the Island Race in June. Cars can be parked in the quiet road outside of the property. Twelve steps lead down to the cottage entrance.
