When it comes to planning the day's itinerary, you'll be spoilt for choice here, with sandy shores, the Blue Reef Aquarium and Newquay Zoo within an easy distance. If you love the water, try a surfing lesson or sailing school to truly appreciate the Cornish coast. Being on the harbour, there are some incredible seafood restaurants around if you fancy staying out for dinner.
When you return home, cosy up beside the fireplace, or head back onto the balcony to share a bottle of wine and watch the sun descend over the Atlantic.
