There are many cycling and walking opportunities on your doorstep, including the Red Squirrel Trail, and Newport (2 miles) has some great shops and eateries to explore. A small set of steps leads up to the hut, which has a stable door peak inside and note the attractive shutters that adorn the windows and the quaint lamps that hang from the ceiling.
