One of a collection of recently built villas on the outskirts of Zakynthos Town, this is contemporary Greek living at its finest. With huge windows and glass doors running along the walls, the home is spoilt when it comes to natural light and this plentiful asset is only accentuated more by the cleansingly white walls, floors and ceilings. Save for some Scandi-inspired wood surfaces, most of the furnishings are similarly muted in colour, which makes for an instantly relaxing atmosphere. If things get a little too sedate, however, all you have to do is head out into the outdoor space and splash about in the swimming pool or light up the barbecue ahead of an alfresco banquet. When the sun starts to set, head up to one of the balconies to watch the sky change colour over the Ionian Sea. When the coastal panorama proves too tempting, you can walk down to Akrotiri Beach in less than a quarter of an hour. The restaurants and museums of Zakynthos Town are only five minutes' drive away, too.
