Overlooking Trapezaki Beach and the deep blue of the Ionian sea, the views are best enjoyed from the balcony or the terrace where a private pool and an alfresco dining area await. While the outdoors provides more wow factor than the inside, the home offers practical decor in its open-plan living area with a sofa bed for more flexible sleeping options. And though a car will certainly come in handy for trips to the beach and visits to Lourdas (3 kilometres away), you’ll find a mini-market and a restaurant close by.

*While this home is laid out on a single level, it's located in a very hilly area – to access the villa there is a 110cm wide path along with four steps
*At capacity, one guest will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area – this will be at the expense of lounge space, however, so we think this home is better suited to two guests
*Your host can provide a complimentary cot and high chair – this must be requested at the time of booking, and you’ll need to bring your own cot linen
*The laundry facilities are shared with the neighbouring villas
*There is a mini-market and restaurant close by but a car is definitely helpful for visits to the beach and exploring further afield – on-site parking is available
