The location of this property makes it ideal for trips to seaside towns and unspoilt beaches like Alnmouth, as well as beautiful country villages and historic market towns and castles, like Rothbury and Alnwick. Walk to the village pub for a drink and a meal, with themed dining most days, and the village shop stocks just about everything you need. Enjoy breakfast or afternoon tea at the renowned restaurant/bakery in nearby Longframlington. Head to Druridge Beach and Country Park to stroll around the lake. Visit Amble s fishing port for excellent seafood and Warkworth s medieval castle. Morpeth has a good range of shops, restaurants and beautiful river walks and Newcastle s bustling city life is an easy drive away. Delightful cottage for two where the open plan living space has been well set out, vaulted ceilings add to the sense of space and light, and thoughtful touches from the owner fill every corner. You enter the bright kitchen/diner where you can cook your meals, eat together and plan your next day s adventure. The kitchen has everything you need including an electric oven and hob, a fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Walk through the arched wall into the well presented lounge with a Smart TV and a stylish wood burner for warm, cosy nights snuggled up on the comfortable sofa. There is also an armchair if you prefer to sit and read quietly. There are windows on three sides and a door leads out to the rear garden. A door from the kitchen leads to the light and airy bedroom with a king size bed. There is a small wardrobe for your things and a shelf and mirror where you can dry your hair. The window overlooks the rear garden, and a skylight fills the room with light during the day. The shower room has a glamourous, contemporary feel with a large shower and WC. A door in the lounge leads out to the fully enclosed patio garden where you will find a hot tub in the corner where you can soak away your cares. A garden table and chairs are perfect for some al fresco dining or your morning coffees. A bike shed provides secure storage for your bikes, golfing or surfing gear. There is a bench seat out in the south west facing, front garden too so you can enjoy some late afternoon sunshine. Parking for one car is off road on the driveway, about 20 meters from the front door.
