Stroll along the River Coquet to Warkworth to see the medieval castle, local galleries, shops pubs, and cafes. Visit Warkworth s sandy beach, perfect for a picnic. Book a boat trip to Coquet Island for the amazing birdlife, and on occasions pods of dolphins. Hauxley Nature Reserve (2 miles) is great for bird watching with several hides and a welcoming café with super views, whilst Druridge Bay Country Park (7 miles) offers 3 miles of sandy beach as well as a 100 acre lake.
