• "Absolutely beautiful cottage!"

  We had a lovely welcome pack waiting for us on our arrival. The cottage is modern and very comfortable with outstanding views of the sea and surrounding area. The owner was very friendly and made us feel welcome. It is located within easy walking distance of the small village of Moelfre and the coastal pathways. We would definitely recommend this cottage as we had a great holiday and stay at Y Gorlan.

• "An absolutely fabulous property close to the village of Moelfre."

  Everything was spotlessly clean and in good working order. The hot tub was great, even on a chilly February afternoon, and the views over the field to the sea were amazing. We loved watching the lambs running and jumping around the field. A lovely peaceful mid-week break.

  The house was lovely and clean and had a well equipped kitchen. The beds were comfortable. The house was very warm and cosy. Hosts were friendly and attentive. Best of all the hot tub to relax in after a long walk along the coastal path. I would recommend booking here.

  Great base to explore the whole of Anglesey and less than 10 min walk to centre of Moelfre. Can’t fault a single thing and all of our expectations were exceeded. We loved it!

  The views are amazing. The house is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well equipped. furnished to a high level. The owners Dewi & Rhian are friendly and helpful. The hot tub is amazing spent most evenings in it watching the boats go by. some great restaurants The Tavern on the bay as recommended by Dewi did disappoint for food and view. Overall Y Gorlan is a little gem, which we have already booked for November and June next year and will never tire of comming back to xxx

• "Extremely well appointed."

  Beds very comfy. View to die for. Great that it has an EV charger as N Wales is extremely poor with its public chargers. The location is also very convenient for getting around Anglesey. I don't think that we can fault it in any way and would happily return.

• "Y Gorlan was a beautifully presented, immaculate, comfortable holiday home."

  Quiet and peaceful with easy access to facilities if needed or wanted and lovely coastal views. It was a welcome refuge from the very stormy weather we had. One improvement for us, because it was very wet at times, would have been bike storage of some kind. Having said that I’m sure the owner would have accommodated this had we asked.

  Sunrises from hot tub are so wholesome !Cleanliness over 170% . Owners clearly care and go above and beyond. Me and my friends, we felt like we have everything what we could potentially ever need for our stay and felt very spoiled. We managed to relax and have lovely time In this little gem. Beds are sooo comfortable and evenings spend by the fire with blindfolded doors oversee the Anglesey beauty, with moon rising and stars appealing, sitting on one of the most comfy couch ever was just perfect. We would highly recommend this place to anyone on the edge deciding whenever to book this cottage ,but we will also share our experience with anyone looking for perfect escape from City Life.   . Exceeded expectations beautiful holiday cottage perfect views and everything that you need and more. On arrival freshly made beds,towels provided, logs ready available for log burner. Highly clean spotless throughout whilst furnished to a high modern standard. Bonus of hot tub that looks over the costal line private and on a clear night looking up at the stars. The host /owner Dewi was fantastic nothing was to much trouble and went above and beyond for us with a slow puncture on the car Excellent place highly recommended this beautiful little gem. Will be most definitely booking again.

  Y Gorlan is without doubt the best property we have stayed in. It was pristine on arrival and had everything you needed for a family break away. The position is perfect for exploring Angelsey and the view is incredible - the hot tub just made it that bit extra special. The hosts were welcoming and very helpful during our visit.   STUNNING VIEWS, Private, immaculate grounds. This STUNNING COTTAGE, was superb in every way, design, comfort & so well equipped, lacking only in a Nespresso cod coffee machine, so we took our own, see told you I want it all. Moelfre is a lovely little village, many great places to eat nearby, never been to Anglesey before but just loved the island. Dewi & Rhiane were super hosts, there if you need them & then left us alone. We really didn’t want to leave.

Evan provided a couple of make do wooden steps which were made there and then to accommodate our mobility issues.   The accommodation is fantastic it has everything you need in a great location with wonderful view's. It is a great place just to relax and not have a care in the world. Sit on the the patio watching the wildlife or going in the hot tub l would recommend Y Gorlan to anyone. The only bad point was having to leave, but we were sad to leave so we have booked for next year and we can't wait.

  ! What an amazing place. I would never get tired of the views from this place. The cottage itself is immaculate and has everything you could want and more. The addition of the hot tub is a real bonus too. The hosts were lovely and very welcoming and had some great suggestions for places to visit.   Sea views were amazing. Everything is top quality and the cottage was very clean. The owners were lovely and there was a welcome pack in the kitchen on our arrival which included Prosecco. The hot tub was very clean and well maintained including mid week checks. The local pub was within walking distance, the food is very good. We had a fantastic week at Y Gorlan, we would definitely recommend this cottage. We have already booked again for next year!

• "We visited Y Gorlan for a birthday/anniversary weekend, from the moment we got there we were blown away with how truly beautiful the cottage is, everything has been thought out to ensure the most comfortable stay, little touches like a welcome pack of milk, treats and fiz, Alexa, handy information for the area and even the wood burner all set up which was great for first timers like us!"

  Hot tub was amazing, really great size and super clean. Owners were never far away, checked in with us upon arrival and stopped to chat on one of the days where they invited us to see the lambs in the barn, kids loved that! Just overall a perfect stay, we will 100% be back, we’re already planning our next visit. Thank you.

• "A really fantastic property in a beautiful and peaceful location."

  It was bright, fresh, clean and comfy inside. We were lucky to have sunny days and clear skies and the sunrise was stunning in our last morning. We spent time in the hot tub under the stars which was amazing as it was much darker than many places, meaning you could see so much more. Our 6 year old loved it too. Would definitely book again if we are visiting Anglesey. Very much recommend this cottage.
