Morning, noon or night, chances are you'll spend every minute out on the terrace, watching as the tide ebbs and flows in the Aegean Sea. There are plenty of outdoor spots to drink, dine and unwind – all of which face the idyllic seascape. Another thing we love? The L-shaped infinity pool, perfect for cooling off on hazy days and twilight dips as the stars pop out, one by one.

But the biggest surprise of all is inside. Effortless and clean, the essence here is minimalism at its best – think white-on-white colour palette and uncluttered spaces that soothe both the eye and the soul. Big windows capture the scenery, while wicker accents and wood textures add warmth and cosiness. With air conditioning, TVs in every room, and a Bluetooth speaker, all your basics are covered.

And the location is pretty excellent, too. Stroll seven minutes to Kalafati Beach for scuba diving among shipwrecks, sunbathing on the sand and windsurfing on the waves. Chic bars and delicious seafood restaurants flank the beach, while more laid-back tavernas and casual eateries lay a little further inland. Hike along the coast to discover hidden coves and beaches or for a bit more action, drive twenty minutes to lively Mykonos Town, where you'll find buzzing nightclubs, fashionable boutiques and historic museums.

*Parking is included – there is a bus service on Mykonos that runs to all the major beaches, but we think renting a car would offer more flexibility
