Known for its independent cinema and lovely cafes and restaurant, the centre of Wirksworth is less than a mile away. The popular villages of Cromford and Matlock Bath are less than 2 miles away. Whether you fancy a stroll by the canal at Cromford, or visit the strip at Matlock Bath, where you will enjoy the vibrant and seaside feel of the walks by the River Derwent. The Heights of Abraham are less than 2 miles away and can be reached by cable car. At the top are caverns and a wonderful aerial restaurant and cafe. A bit further down Dale Road as you reach Matlock, you will find many independent shops, antique places, and places to eat or drink.
