From the moment you step foot inside this home, it’s easy to see what makes it so special – your eyes will instantly be drawn to the generous doors leading out to your terrace that afford the most spectacular sea views. Not to be outdone by the outdoor space, however, the blue of the outstretched ocean is visible from almost every area of this home. In the mornings, simply throw back the curtains and snuggle back into bed. With the windows open and the sea rolling before you, a salty breeze drifts into the room. Can you imagine a better way to wake up?

When you’re ready to explore Marseille, head into the city, walk the colourful streets and take in its heritage. If the sea and sand are calling your name, in under a two-minute walk you can reach any one of three beaches, so you really are spoilt for choice.

*There is unrestricted free on-street parking here but it quickly gets busy so you may need to park one or two blocks away sometimes
*If you're not travelling by car, the number 19 bus runs from the street to the city centre of Marseille, and from late April to late September, you can take the boat bus to reach the Old Port
*This home is spread over two floors, with no internal lift
*The courtyard entrance is shared with other Plum visitors who may occupy the ground floor home
*Though there isn't a dedicated desk here, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace
