Just along the coast from the glitzy city of Marbella, this penthouse apartment sits just 80 metres from the long stretch of “Golden Beach” on the Costa del Sol. You’ve got plenty of bars and restaurants on the beachfront and the centre of Marbella is a short drive away for a day trip.

Matching the striking prints on the walls, the motif of this home is like the coat of a Siberian tiger; silvery greys and soft whites. A modern eclectic fireplace in the main, open living and dining area is reminiscent of a 1960s entertainer’s pad. Being two apartments in one, there’s a full kitchen, dining area and living room both upstairs and downstairs, so there’s plenty of room for the group to spread out. Apart from the beachside location, the highlight for us has to be the rooftop terrace. Out here, you’ve got a double daybed that catches the sun during the day, loungers and a dedicated bar for a cocktail or two. On the lower terrace, you’ll find the alfresco dining area and big barbecue. What’s more, guests here have access to a shared swimming pool at the heart of the complex.
