Set high on a hill, with commanding views over the surrounding countryside, Mount Corbitt House is in the centre of its own peaceful 300 acre estate of grassland, woodlands and many miles of private tracks and roads.
Ideally situated for touring the Southwest of Ireland, Cork, Shannon and Kerry airports are all exactly a one hour car journey away. Mount Corbitt house itself is of historic interest, being the birthplace of Robert Andrew Anderson in 1860, first secretary and chief organiser of the Irish Co-Operative Movement from 1894 to 1922. First built in the mid 1700s and then added to in the mid 1800s, the house comprises of 5 double bedrooms, 3 of which are en suite, 2 twin rooms, 1 of which is ensuite and a family bathroom upstairs. On the ground floor, there is a large impressive kitchen, a TV room, a games room with pool table, a drawing room, a dining room and 2 further toilets. in the basement is a laundry, a boot room and a wine cellar.
