The historic town of Dolgellau lies eleven miles from the property, and offers a good range of shops, pubs, bars, and bistros. Some twenty miles west of the property, the seaside resort of Barmouth is a home to a wide sandy beach that rarely gets busy even in the height of summer, and offers traditional seaside fun such as donkey rides, amusement arcades, and swing boats.
