Heart of Zakynthos

This villa is a really special home. It can be found in Machairado village – an almost untouched part of Zakynthos at the heart of the island. The home is on a vast plot of land, tucked away amid acres of lush greenery so if peace and quiet are what you’re craving, you’re in luck.

You could easily spend your whole stay on the property, with your every need catered for. Hire a private chef and enjoy your meals at any one of the many dining areas in the grounds – we’re particularly fond of the tables on the covered terrace, where you can shelter from the midday sun and still enjoy the views all the way to the mountains. A huge brick barbecue sits alongside its own bar area to the side of the pool, the perfect setting for celebrations.

The heart-shaped pool takes pride of place at the centre of the outside space. The hydro-massage jets mean it’s a hub of relaxation. After a morning spent floating and feeling your worries melt away, head to the tennis court. There’s also table tennis, a basketball hoop and billiards, so nobody is likely to feel bored.

If you do feel the urge to explore beyond the gates, you can be in Zakynthos town in just fifteen minutes. You’ll find plenty of restaurants, bars and activity, and you can be back in time to enjoy a glass of wine as the sun sets.
