Description Seafarer's Haven: Lyme Regis

The beach is quite literally on your doorstep at this thatched cottage in Lyme Regis. It's not often you can pad out the front door and swim in the sea in seconds, but that's exactly what's in store here. Restaurants, shops, and activities like kayaking are also nearby. Back home, sweeping sea views can be seen from nearly every room – the best viewpoint is the living area's big bay window. Some design choices are a little dated, but given the location and the scenery, we think that's a fine compromise.

*This home is set over three floors. The twin bedroom is on the top floor, the main bedroom and bathroom are on the first floor, and the living space, kitchen, and WC are on the ground floor.
*While a car isn't needed here, your host provides one parking permit for Woodmead Halls car park on Hill Road. It's about a ten-minute walk away and is subject to availability.
*A few bits of this home are a little dated, including the kitchen and bathroom. However, we think the beachfront location and sea views make up for it.
