A great base for exploring the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean and Welsh Mountains, walkers can join a waymarked trail from the doorstep which will guide you across the surrounding countryside. The Offa s Dyke trail can also be picked up in Tidenham Chase (5 miles) where you can climb up to the Devil s Pulpit and enjoy views across the River Wye and Tintern Abbey. The Forest of Dean offers great mountain biking, climbing and kayaking. Cleverly designed with beautiful interiors and simple touches of comfort, the open plan living area offers space for relaxing with a table and chairs that front a wood burning stove that s perfect for a chilly autumn evening.
