Stretching from the Cuillin Mountains to the Isle of Raasay, we can't think of a better setting for a Scottish retreat. A lochside picnic table is the perfect place for summer barbecues and sundowners. Inside, the log burner keeps you warm on chilly evenings. We love that the pared-back design lets the scenery shine. Plus, there's a ground-floor bedroom and bathroom for those who struggle with stairs. Amenities may not be on your doorstep, but Broadford is only a 7-mile drive away and has plenty of shops and eateries.

This home is right on the shores of Loch Ainort. Little ones will need to be supervised at all times, as the property isn't fenced.
