Bryn Howell Stables consists of a kitchen/diner with double electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and dining seating for six people, sitting room with TV and woodburning stove, and utility with washing machine. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with en-suite shower room, twin (zip/link, can be king-size on request), and twin, serviced by a bathroom and cloakroom. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with patio, lawn, furniture, and barbecue, along with off-road parking for two cars. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Travel cot, highchair, and stairgate available. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels inc. in rent. Bryn Howell Stables is a lovely base for a Wrexham retreat. Area
Set on the boulder-strewn River Dee and with a wonderful mountainous backdrop, the pretty town of Llangollen offers a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, and is home to the internationally famous musical Eisteddfod, held annually. There is so much to do - take a horse-drawn boat trip down the canal, or tackle the walking or cycling routes up the Castell Dinas Bran, then enjoy the view from the top. For a more sedate day trip, head to the National Trust properties of Chirk Castle or Erddig.
