Resting on the outskirts of the village of Llanarmon-yn-Ial, in the open Welsh countryside and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is this delightful detached cottage.

Built in 1840 The Old Coach House has been completely renovated.

Inside, you will discover a brightly-decorated interior with plush and modern furnishings, making this a wonderful and welcoming base.

Spend your evenings in the first-floor sitting room, with its warming logburningflame effect fire and large corner sofa so you can curl up with your loved ones into the evening.

The open-plan kitchen has all the appliances you could need to rustle up a delicious home-cooked meal for the whole family, whilst the dining area provides ample space for those family gatherings.

Retire to any one of the well-presented bedrooms, comprising of two super-king-size (zip/link) beds, able to be made into twins upon request, so whatever your group type, there will be something to accommodate your needs.

Discover a shower room on the ground floor and a bathroom on the first floor to enjoy either an invigorating shower or a relaxing soak at the end of a tiring day.

Look forward to sitting outside during the summer months for some alfresco dining with a refreshing beverage.

While you're in the area, why not travel towards the wonderful Loggerheads Country Park, a wooded river valley perfect for those of you looking to explore the scenic grounds and the Clwydian Range with dramatic views to coincide.

The beautiful Llandegla Forest is ideal for mountain biking, walking, hiking and even birdwatching and photography.

The nearby market towns of Ruthin and Mold boast a range of attractions that are a must-see during your trip!

The Ruthin Gaol Museum, Nantclwyd y Dre Historic House and Garden and Mold Castle are all worth a visit.

For a good day out take a trip to the historic city of Chester or visit the beach which is about 45 mins drive away.

LLANARMON-YN-IAL

Mold 7 miles; Ruthin 7 miles.

The village of Llanarmon-yn-Ial is situated an equal distance between the towns of Mold and Ruthin. Llanarmon-yn-Ial has a shop, pub, Post Office, a church and a chapel, and provides a convenient base from which to explore the area. Within reach is the market town of Mold, which has a market twice a week, shops, pubs and Theatre Clwyd, the National Theatre for Wales. The hilltop town of Ruthin boasts attractive half-timbered buildings that are mainly clustered around St Peter’s Square, along with Nant Clwyd House, which is the oldest timber frame in Wales, Ruthin Gaol and Ruthin Craft Centre. Also close by are Lake Brenig, Moel Famau Country Park and Clocaenog Forest, and further afield are the wonderful Snowdonia National Park and historic Chester and Liverpool. For keen mountain bikers, Llandegla Centre is 10 minutes away, Betws-y-Coed 45 minutes and Coed-y-Brenin, 75 minutes’ drive. An excellent North Wales touring base whether travelling on foot, bike or by car.
