Description
Halfway Back: Lizard
addremove
This operational lighthouse is a charming, quirky place to stay on the Lizard Peninsula, on the southern-most tip of mainland Britain. There are coastal walks right on the doorstep, and Cornish favourites St Michael’s Mount, St Ives and Mousehole are all within easy reach too. Perfect for those wanting to completely switch off, this home has no wi-fi and very limited phone signal, so your days can be spent taking in the scenery. On misty days you’ll even get to experience the fog signal – your host provides earplugs, don’t worry.
Home truths:
*We recommend bringing a car to get the most out of your stay. There’s parking for two cars here.
*Your host can provide a cot and high chair for little ones on request. Children should be closely supervised at this home.
*There’s no wi-fi at this home and very limited mobile phone signal. Your host has a landline telephone with an honesty box should you need to make calls.
*This is an operational lighthouse with an automatic fog signal. Earplugs are provided for periods of mist and fog. Occasionally, maintenance staff will need to visit the lighthouse – they’ll do their best to ensure guest privacy.
