It's downright dreamy – you can hear the waves crashing below you and feel the salt kiss your skin. And it's no surprise that the sunsets are unmissable. Better still, the communal swimming pool provides a refreshing place to relax when you don't fancy a dip in the sea – and it's got stunning panoramas to match.

When you're ready to venture out, the golden sands are a mere one-minute stroll away – spend your days lounging in the sand and splashing in the sea. Grab dinner and drinks at one of the waterfront restaurants or pick up some local produce and rustle up something tasty back at home. For a change of scenery (though who would want to leave that view behind?), Catedral de Santa Ana de Canarias in the historic district is a sixteen-minute taxi ride away.
