The Nineteenth Hole

It's fair to say that you're never far from a golf course on the Costa del Sol, but you can't get much closer than at this villa that overlooks fairways and bunkers. While it's good news for those obsessed with the sport, the even better news is that the home has plenty more to offer those not so keen.

The first of these that's likely to grab your attention is the infinity swimming pool that sits in the middle of the outdoor space, but there's also a neighbouring Jacuzzi once you've finished with paddling, plus a terrace with a table and barbecue ready for alfresco dinners that stretch long into the evening.

Even if the villa didn't have these wonderful outdoor amenities, we'd still be suitably impressed by it thanks to its contemporary interior. Huge windows and glass doors flood the living quarters with natural light, and there's a chic coherence to all of the furnishings and finishes, especially the minimalist kitchen and sleek bathrooms. Plus, there's also a games room with a billiards table and a bar that makes for a great place to gather the whole group together.

When it comes to days out, the question is where to begin? The beaches of Fuengirola and La Cala de Mijas can be reached in ten minutes by car, while the towns of Marbella and Puerto Banus are only a short drive away, too. And of course, you've always got the golf course on your doorstep, as well.
