Built in 1816 Ballywilliam House is a majestic waterside Georgian sanctuary in a magnificent private setting on the elevated site on the banks of the river Bandon a five-minute drive from the picturesque town of Kinsale.
The property has 8 bedroom and 6 bathrooms, a large lounge and dinning room that can seat 24. The property is ideal for large family gatherings. We can sleep additional guests if required up to 34.
The house is accessed via gates so the property is secured for your safety.
The property oozes history, its believed a house has existed on the land at Ballywilliam in some form since 1765, the IRA Ani Treaty tried to occupy the property in 1922 and the property was owed by American singer song writer and pianist Tori Amos from 1995 until 2019.
Many Albums were written at Ballywillam House when it was turned into a residential recording studio, videos and photographs for the album Night of the Hunters were also taken there.
Spread over three floors, the property boosts eight large bedrooms and six bathrooms. There is a large lounge with a large fireplace, a large dinning room with fireplace and a piano which is perfect for entertaining. There is a compact kitchen with two large ovens for cooking or catered evenings.
The house is airy and filled with light, it has tall ceilings and extraordinary twelve over twelve sash windows. A curved cantilever staircase with a spectacular oriel window leads to the upstairs. The property has been restored, decorated and refurbished to the highest standard, to ensure its Georgian status is still intact.

A path leads through the woodland to the magical waterfront and a drystone seated theatre and fire pit, with a pathway leading to a further heated gazebo with the most amazing river views.
The house is at the end of a two-kilometre cull-de- sac and offers the utmost privacy. Once inside the gates, you enter a majestic haven that offers peace and tranquillity.
