Begin your mornings with brunch around the dining table in the open-plan living area or dine alfresco if the sun’s out. Once the plates are cleared away, sprint down to the pebbled shores for an afternoon of paddling and long walks by the water’s edge. Follow the coastal path for fifty minutes to the pretty town of Deal, where a contemporary art scene and superb collection of bars and eateries draw a cool, local crowd. When the day draws to a close, head back home for mugs of hot tea in the inviting living room – fire up the wood-burner to make it extra cosy.
