Area
Between Keswick and Penrith, in the northern Lake District, is the tiny hamlet of Troutbeck, which is only three miles from the beautiful Ullswater shoreline. Several farm houses, typical Lakeland residences, and a small inn make up the hamlet, which is situated among magnificent rolling terrain and wonderful landscape. Keswick, located nearby, is a popular tourist destination since it serves as the northern Lake District's hub. It is home to a wide variety of stores and eateries, as well as parks, a theatre, and the scenic lake. The World's Original Marmalade Awards are held annually at Dalemain, a nearby ancient mansion with gardens. Troutbeck is a fantastic home base for exploring the stunning landscape of Ullswater, Glenridding, and Patterdale, and on to Ambleside and the southern end of the Lake District through the Kirkstone Pass.
Region
Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.
