Enjoy the fabulous Lake District National Park from this stylish cottage on the edge of Whinlatter Forest Park, with direct access to walking and cycling trails. Visit the shores of 4 mile long Bassenthwaite Lake, or head to the market town of Keswick (3.5 miles) with its great mix of shops, bars and restaurants. Situated in Thornthwaite, this property is in an ideal location to explore fells, woodlands and lakes. Neighbouring Braithwaite (1.5 miles) has a few pubs and a village shop. Enter the house through the practical utility room which has a washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer and plenty of storage space for boots and coats. There is also a handy downstairs cloakroom here, before heading through to the well equipped kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has an AGA oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and Dolce Gusto machine.
