The pretty village of Rosthwaite is just six miles from the market town of Keswick. This location offers some great walks for all abilities, with an easy level walk to the stepping stones across the River Derwent. The packhorse trail to Watendlath is a popular trail from here as well. Once you have completed your walk why not relax and take in the view from the garden of the local tearoom just 200 meters from the property. A walk through Castle Crag woods is one of the best places for spotting a red squirrel in Borrowdale and lots of other wildlife. If you are looking for relaxation, why not book a session at the spa just three miles away. As you enter the property you will find yourself in the country style kitchen with Honister slate worktops, electric Range oven and hob, a microwave, and a small informal seating area. Next door to the kitchen is the lounge, with comfortable seating, a wood burner and a Smart TV this room is spacious with stunning views across Borrowdale and open countryside. From the lounge and through the French doors is the formal dining room, it is an ideal social space for family or friends to catch up. Also off the lounge, there is a useful utility room with a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge, and freezer. There is also a WC and a small games room with table football and lots of board games to bring out the competitive streak in the family. Head back through to the kitchen and up the stairs to the first floor. You will find a separate WC, and opposite here is a large master king size bedroom with TV, stunning dual aspect countryside views, and an en suite shower and WC. There is a small double room next door with the same fabulous views, a bathroom is opposite with shower over jacuzzi bath and WC. Completing the property is a second double bedroom and a twin bedroom. There is a secluded patio outside the entrance, which can also be accessed from the dining room via the French doors, there is seating and a table that offer you the perfect al fresco dining option on a nice evening. There is a small shared garden with a lawn as well, for you to sit out and enjoy the views. There is parking for 2 cars and additional parking at the village car park which is approximately 200 meters away(subject to availability, local charge and opening times).
