Crow Park (0.6 miles) is well worth a visit, with 360 degree views of the mountains along with stunning views down the lake towards the exceptionally beautiful valley. Walkers can enjoy a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, this area has something for all abilities. Why not take a boat on Derwentwater there are eight jetties where you can hop on and off to explore. This spacious cottage sits tucked away just off the main high street, access to the entrance is up eight steps onto the patio. Enter through the front door you will find a spacious bright and welcoming lounge to your right. The room has lots of character and charm and has attractive wood and slate flooring through into the open plan kitchen which sits to the back of the room. This ground floor space offers a great place to catch up and make plans for the days ahead, sit down over a hearty breakfast or a nice evening meal and catch up on the days events!
