Why not traverse the ridge from Maiden Moor to Cat Bells and look back at the cottage from across the lake? Alternatively, you can follow cycle routes, hire a boat or go shopping and dine out in Keswick, only a mile away by footpath. This enchanting stone cottage, located across the drive from the owner s house, boasts deep set windows and exposed beams, as well as soaring ceilings that create a sense of airy comfort. In the open plan kitchen/diner you can prepare tasty, home cooked feasts while taking in the impressive vistas.
