Don your hiking boots and walk less than a mile to the mysterious Castlerigg Stone Circle which dates back to around 3,000BC, climb the local fell of Latrigg (3 miles) for breathtaking views over Keswick, or tackle the mighty Blencathra (5.5 miles) if you re up for a real challenge.
