The town is home to numerous popular attractions including Puzzling Place, the Theatre by the Lake, the Alhambra Cinema, the Derwent Pencil Museum, Hope Park and Keswick Adventure Centre, with the ancient Castlerigg Stone Circle and Keswick Climbing Wall just outside the town. From Keswick you can take a cruise around Derwentwater, calling in at Ashness Gate, High Brandelhow, Lodore and Hawes End so you can explore popular landmarks and attractions including Surprise View, Beatrix Potter s house at Hill Top and the Bowder Stone. Local activities include rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking and ghyll scrambling. Shared bike rails are available on a first come first served basis. Please note that the apartment is reached via 63 steps up an external concrete stairway with a handrail. You will also have a designated parking space in the car park behind the building, which is a short walk from the property via the street. Large cars may find it difficult to manoeuvre in the space especially when the car park is full.
