The apartment is perfect for exploring the lively town of Keswick, with a fantastic range of restaurants, pubs, cafes and independent shops within easy reach. Local attractions in the town include the Theatre by the Lake, the Alhambra Cinema, Puzzling Place, Derwent Pencil Museum, Hope Park and Keswick Adventure Centre, with the ancient Castlerigg Stone Circle and Keswick Climbing Wall just outside the town. Local activities include rock climbing, hiking, and ghyll scrambling. At Whinlatter Forest Park (4.5 miles) you can hire mountain bikes and go exploring, or you can take a cruise from Keswick across Derwentwater, with stops at Ashness Gate, Lodore and Hawes End. Walkers can attempt Latrigg, Catbells, Skiddaw or Causey Pike (all within 6 miles). Entering the property via a private entrance hall, stairs lead you up to the first floor where you will find the spacious and welcoming lounge/diner. This is a lovely space to relax in at the end of a fabulous day: the lounge features comfortable seating, an electric fire, Smart TV, DVD, CD and Bluetooth speaker. The dining area is ideal for sharing a favourite family meal which you can enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. This bright and friendly room features an electric oven and gas hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and a handy breakfast bar. The washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer can be found in the nearby utility room. The first floor also has the main family bathroom, with a bath, separate shower cubicle and WC. Heading up to the second floor via a steep staircase you will find three light and tastefully decorated bedrooms. The first bedroom features a double bed and plenty of storage space; there s also a charming single room and a pretty twin room which has an en suite shower room complete with a shower and a WC. Please note the shower room can also be accessed via the landing. Stepping outside, the private courtyard to the front of the house makes a delightful sport for a coffee in the morning as you plan the day. You will also have access to a shared drying area at the end of the terrace. There s an allocated parking space to the back of the property, with further on street parking available along Stanger Street.
