Follow the South West Coast Path along to Woolacombe with its 3 mile stretch of golden sands and beach huts a mecca for surfing. The village boasts a plethora of shops, pubs and restaurants grab some fish and chips to eat while looking out over the ocean. The Victorian seaside town of Ilfracombe is only 1.5 miles away, and from here you can take fishing trips and boat trips along the stunning coastline and see the local sea life including seals, or head over to Lundy Island onboard the MS Oldenburg. Venture a bit further (12 miles) to the magical Exmoor National Park with its moorlands and woodland walks and abundance of wildlife and Exmoor ponies. Leave your car on the drive and take the few steps up to the property, enjoying the breathtaking views across the countryside to the sea. The porch is convenient for leaving sandy shoes or muddy boots. Step into the open plan lounge/diner, which is bursting with natural light, with floor to ceiling windows looking out across the spectacular views. Enjoy cosy nights in front of the wood burner and watch a favourite movie with your friends and family on the Smart TV.
