Horncastle is brimming with history, stretching right back to its origins in Roman times. The town is renowned for its collection of antique shops and historic buildings, including many public houses and restaurants and has a traditional market held twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you want to explore further, head north into the Lincolnshire Wolds or south to The Fens. The seaside is the place to blow away the cobwebs, a short drive, or with the Spa Ttrail on your doorstep enjoy a 3 mile walk or cycle along the old Viking way, through scenic woodlands and countryside. For plane enthusiasts visit the Lincolnshire aviation heritage centre, visit the viewing point at RAF Coningsby or the Petwood Hotel for a great day out. The historic city of Lincoln is just 19 miles east for shopping and attractions. Discover Cadewell Park, one of the best motorcycling circuits in the UK, just 9 miles north of Horncastle. Woodhall is less than 3 miles away, with its Woodhall Spa Golf Club. Step into the warm and inviting lounge with comfortable seating inviting you to relax after a day exploring the area. Switch on the Smart TV or curl up in the cosy armchair with a good book. The kitchen/diner offers everything you need to rustle up a good meal during your stay if the local eateries can't tempt you. You will find an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. There is a family dining table in the centre of the kitchen, perfect to come together over breakfast and plan the day ahead. Heading upstairs you will find a king size bedroom with smart TV and a smaller double bedroom with a 4ft bed. There is a bathroom with shower over bath and WC, so don t forget your bubble bath to enjoy a long soak at the end of the day. On the second floor, you will find a shower room with a shower and WC and dressing area. Outside there is a small, enclosed patio with seating to sit and enjoy a morning coffee with some fresh air. There is on road parking to the front of the property (subject to availability) and further off road parking nearby (subject to availability).
