Broadhembury, voted the most beautiful village in Devon, is only 5 miles away and boasts an amazing pub and circular walks. Nearby is Honiton (8 miles), a vibrant market town with a delightful assortment of shops, cafes, pubs, and restaurants. For those seeking coastal adventures, a short journey south will unveil the awe inspiring Jurassic Coast of Devon, including seaside towns such as Branscombe, Sidmouth, Seaton, Beer and Lyme Regis all within 18 miles. For a change of pace, the cathedral city of Exeter is easily accessible 25 miles away where there are a wealth of shops and cultural experiences awaiting your discovery. Step inside this cosy getaway and to your left is a space to hang your coats and kick off your muddy boots, whilst directly to the right is the downstairs shower room with WC. There is an open plan kitchen/lounge/dining area with French doors opening onto a private balcony space with stunning views over the valley. The downstairs space is great for relaxing with a comfy sofa, TV and an ample supply of books should you wish. The kitchen area provides space to cook up meals, with a dining table for two. Upstairs, on a mezzanine floor, is a zip and link king size bed with bedside lamps as well as a chest of drawers so you can settle in. Outside to the rear is a balcony deck with chairs, overlooking ancient woodland with far reaching countryside views beyond; perfect for listening to the dawn chorus over a cup of coffee. There is a washing and drying machine in an outdoor utility area, if required.
