The cottage is conveniently located just a short stroll down the hill into the bustling town of Holmfirth. Here you can browse the quaint streets and independent shops or grab a snack in one of the many local bars and eateries. Holmfirth boasts its very own vineyard and is well known for its Picturedrome, one of North England s finest live music venues. Situated in the heart of the beautiful Holme Valley, on the edge of the West Yorkshire Pennines and Peak District National Park, the area is an absolute paradise for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. There is an abundance of walks straight from the doorstep and the Tour de France and the Tour de Yorkshire have both been through this delightful Holme Valley town. A number of stone steps lead up to the entrance of this wonderful property where you are greeted by a welcoming entrance hall, perfect for leaving coats and muddy boots after a day of exploring. The cosy lounge boasts a gas fire and a smart TV and enjoys beautiful views from the large windows. Moving through to the main hub of the house, the spacious kitchen/diner is equipped with everything you could need, including a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Relax and enjoy a morning coffee around the dining table, made with the coffee machine, whilst you plan your activities for the day ahead. On the first floor, you will find two good sized bedrooms, one super king zip and link (which can be made up as twins on request) and one king size zip and link (which can be made up as 2 6 twins on request). There is also the house bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. Up a second set of stairs are the remaining two bedrooms, one twin and one single (for alternate sleeping only), both of which are full of character with low, sloping ceilings. To the front of the property is a garden with a seating area, well appointed to make the most of the countryside views. At the rear is a patio area, adorned with outdoor furniture and a charcoal BBQ for dining alfresco. There is also an outhouse for secure bicycle storage. Adequate roadside parking to the front is available on a first come, first served basis.
