Perched close to Crete's northern coastline, this white villa is one of a small cluster of homes that come with a whole host of amenities for enjoying the island's famously agreeable climate. Straight off the bat, we have to mention the private swimming pool surrounded by loungers, but there's also an outdoor kitchen and a table ready and waiting for alfresco feasts. In this outdoor space, it's possible to spot Cretan mountains and the Aegean Sea, but there's an even better view to be had from the first-floor balcony. Inside, glass doors and large windows bring in copious amounts of natural light, which makes it a bright and pleasant space in which to relax. The interior design is pretty pared-back and straightforward, which is perhaps understandable given how great the outdoor space is. When you want to see a little more of the local area, you can go for a spot of swimming and sunbathing on Star Beach, only 4km away, or treat yourself to dinner in a restaurant in Hersonissos, about 3km away.
