This property is ideally situated for those who want to make the most of all that the Lake District has to offer, both in terms of its stunning landscape and its cultural heritage. The village of Hawkshead, the centre of which is just a two minute walk from the property, is known for its connections to both Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth, both of whom have National Trust properties in the village dedicated to them. Both Lake Windermere and Coniston Water are within a twenty minute drive of the property, both offering visitors opportunities to take to the water. There are plentiful scenic walks in the area, as well as more challenging hikes and climbs. Two steps lead up to the front door of this property, which opens onto a hallway, off from which a door opens onto the lounge. This is a tastefully decorated room, with a bay window overlooking the neighbouring field, a cosy wood burner, Smart TV and DVD. To the rear of the property, the spacious dining room is a relaxing space in which to linger over family meals, with a dining table seating six, another wood burner, and shelving unit which is well stocked with games and books.
