Our family holiday at Plas Amherst in Harlech was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views and the welcoming ambiance of this beautiful property. The house was immaculate, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location is ideal – just a short stroll from the breathtaking Harlech Beach, where the kids spent hours playing in the waves and sand. We also loved exploring Harlech Castle, which is steeped in history and offers incredible views of the coastline (the cafe isn’t bad either). The attention to detail in Plas Amherst is remarkable. Every room is thoughtfully decorated, making it feel like a true home away from home. The kitchen was fully stocked, allowing us to enjoy family meals together with ease. The outdoor space was perfect for evening barbecues while soaking in the picturesque sunset. We couldn’t have asked for a better holiday experience. Plas Amherst exceeded all our expectations and provided the perfect setting for unforgettable family memories. Plas Amherst is a charming property boasting stunning sea views towards the Llyn Penninsula.

The property is perfect for a family getaway, or for a group of friends, you can even bring along your well behaved dog.
The enclosed terrace and garden are the perfect place to enjoy the views while relaxing in the hot tub.
As you enter Plas Amherst, you can choose from the games room to relax and challenge yourself or group members to a game of pool, or you can relax in the lounge, maybe with the log burner blazing on cooler evenings, or open the patio doors onto the terrace when the weather is a little warmer.

Situated in a magnificent position between the mountains and the sea, the delightful small town of Harlech is dominated by its majestic 13th century castle. Harlech Castle is recognised as the most impressive of all those built in North Wales by Edward I and has World Heritage status. The town is very popular with golfers, who come to enjoy the famous Royal St. Davids course, whilst the beautiful sandy beach is wonderful for family fun and long walks. Harlech offers an excellent variety of amenities including some good quality restaurants, whilst the whole of the Snowdonia National Park, together with the sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay, are all within easy reach.
