The village of Gargrave, in the Yorkshire Dales is situated on the River Aire, and is only four miles from the market town of Skipton and seven miles from Malham. Gargrave has shops, pubs and restaurants, plus the village has good bus and rail services, so a car isn't essential. Four miles away is the ancient market town of Skipton 'The Gateway to the Dales' with its historic castle and celebrated high street.
