For a lovely day out hop on the passenger ferry to Fowey and enjoy the independent shops and restaurants on offer or step out onto the beautiful Hall Walk to Bodinnick passing Riverside, Daphne Du Maurier s home or follow the South West Coast Path to Lantic Bay or Lansallos Beach. Further afield there are plenty of places to visit and things to do, why not visit the tall ships at Charlestown, take the brewery tour in St Austell or visit the Eden project and/or the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Also, for those interested in stately homes why not visit Lanhydrock in Bodmin. Step inside from the delightful chimney pot terraced street and hang up your outer wear. Head into the beautifully furnished lounge with Danish style armchairs and a comfortable sofa. Relax in front of the wood burner after a day exploring and watch your favourite film on the Smart TV and Bluetooth speaker. Unwind and read a book or play one of many board games. Two steps lead into the stunning kitchen diner with a gorgeous dining table and bespoke bench seating. There are many small winding streets in and around the village, that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display car park at the top of the village.
