Still, it's cosy and the building peaks and spires across the river are still visible even from inside the living room. Though the traditional style here might not appeal to everyone, the location is hard to resist. Walk to the Uffizi Gallery to start your love affair with Renaissance art and make a scenic crossing over the Ponte alle Grazie - both are minutes away.
