This Norman farmhouse has been impeccably renovated to create a private and contemporary oasis. The quaint timbered exterior has been preserved, while the inside is tastefully designed to blend rustic with modern. Exposed brickwork, natural wooden floors and stone walls characterise each room, while the sleek, high-spec kitchen and modern bathroom with ambient lighting add an updated twist. The house is set on 1.7 acres of land, meaning you’ll have plenty of privacy. You're surrounded by beauty here –wander through the pretty landscaped gardens and head down one of the winding paths to admire the bucolic scenery.

The large heated 14x4m pool means you can enjoy year-round fun, and there’s an outdoor shower to rinse off in before curling up on a deck chair. The kids will have endless fun running around in the gardens, playing ping pong, and making use of the two bikes. On rainy days they can retreat to the games room, where there’s plenty of board games.

You are well placed to explore all the delights of the Pays d’Auge region – the village of Honfleur is a fifteen-minute drive away, with its picture-perfect harbour and expansive sandy beach. For the daily shop, there’s a small village near the house which is reachable on foot. On Tuesday mornings drive seven minutes to the farmers’ market in Beuzeville, where you can pick up some local produce and enjoy an alfresco lunch back at home.
