Jacob's Lodge is an excellent detached property just outside the village of Eggleston near Barnard Castle. The small village of Eggleston is situated in the heart of beautiful Teesdale, between Middleton-in-Teesdale and the market town of Barnard Castle. Eggleston itself consists of a cluster of stone houses, a few farm dwellings and a local pub. Beautiful walking country is right on the doorstep, with the Pennine and Teesdale Ways, the River Tees and magnificent waterfalls at High Force all close by. Middleton-in-Teesdale lies in the heart of Teesdale, in an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty', and offers a good range of shops, pubs and places to eat.
