Edgmond village boasts two pubs, a Methodist chapel and hall, as well as a shop and post office. The canal walk is popular among local residents and visitors to the village, and leads down to the town of Newport. The Severn Valley Railway runs between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster, with a variety of steam and diesel engines making their way through picturesque countryside. Pay a visit to Shrewsbury, discover its selection of independent and high street shops, along with cafes, bars, restaurants and pubs. Explore its sandstone castle, Shrewsbury Abbey and Quarry Park. Attingham Park is also worth a visit for its detailed history, walled gardens and deer park.
