The White Lion pub, the dog-friendly Red Lion with a selection of beers, and a variety of eateries are places where you may eat, and you can stock up at the nearby Co-op. The market town of Barnoldswick, which is close to Earby, offers opportunities to learn about local history at the Bancroft Mill Engine Museum, eat at the well-liked Mario's restaurant, and stroll along the Greenberfield Locks. Before entering the Yorkshire Dales, you can make a stop in Skipton to tour the mediaeval Skipton Castle or travel to Settle to see The Museum of North Craven Life.
