Area
Dungloe, Donegal, was only accessible via stepping stones until 1762. Thanks to Donegal Bridge, people from around the world may experience this picturesque village in County Donegal. Dungloe is called "The Capital of The Rosses" The town, a centre for traditional Irish music, features stores, taverns, and restaurants, as well as events such as the yearly 'Mary from Dungloe' festival. The area is renowned for its fishing and marine angling, with several charter boats available in neighbouring Burtonport, where diving may also be enjoyed. Daily boat tours depart for Arranmore and Rutland Island. Bogs and reed beds are home to wonderful wildlife, and golfers will enjoy the nearby courses. This is the best base for exploring Donegal's hills, mountains, and stunning coastline.
