This delightful lodge is situated at the entrance to a private estate in the quaint historic village of Doune, situated 8 miles north west of Stirling on the River Teith. Enjoy a tour of Doune Castle which is Castle Leoch in Outlander, Winterfell in Game of Thrones, and also features in Monty Python s Holy Grail. Wander through acres of private parkland and stroll into Doune, less than 0.5 miles away, with its intriguing shops and exceptional restaurants. During your stay, also take the opportunity to explore Stirling, with its own famous castle high up on the rocks. Stepping inside, you will find the tastefully decorated lounge where you can relax in front of the cosy wood burner and watch a movie on the Smart TV after a day of exploring all the area has to offer. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook up a storm. Set the dining table in the sunroom and enjoy a family meal and on a sunny day, open the French doors to the garden.
