WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price, along with a highchair, travel cot and stairgate. You'll find a shop in 1 mile and a pub in 2.1 miles. Once a major RAF airfield, serving an important role in World War II as a fighter base protecting coastal areas, the village of Crossways has been built on historic ground and settled in the south of Dorset, just a stone's throw from the shores of Weymouth Bay and the bustling town of Dorset. Within the village you can find several local shops and some pubs, including Spitfire Club, a lovely bar nodding towards the area's heritage. Discover more interesting history at The Tank Museum in Bovington, offering an amazing opportunity to see these large and amazing machines up close. Resting close by to the museum is a different kind of adventure at Monkey World - Ape Rescue Centre; this wondrous primate sanctuary is a must-visit for any animal lovers, set in an open-air animal park. Near to Puddletown in Athelhampton is the amazing Athelhampton House & Gardens, one of England's finest Tudor manor houses with well-kept Elizabethan style gardens, with this wonderful dwelling visited by the famous Thomas Hardy many times during his writing career.
